The end of 2006 saw us very busy traveling. After Wally did some shows in Alberta and Dawson Creek we flew down to Mazatlan for two weeks of doing dinner shows there. The sun and beach were awesome and the shows were great too. Many in the audience were from Canada or the United States but the Mexicans were thrilled to see him as well. He performed on an outdoor patio so people would walk by and gather along the sidewalk just to listen.  We enjoyed meeting and working with the owner (Heather on Wally's left side) and staff (below) and they loved the shows too even getting up on stage or on the dance floor when they had a chance.

December say us flying home to do some Christmas shows and a New Year’s Eve show. Instead of doing our usual birthday tribute show to Elvis in January we were asked to go to Club Med, Ixtapa.  We just couldn’t pass up some more sun and lying on the beach. It was great to see the Chief of the Village again as we’ve worked at other Club Meds he has been at. It’s always nice to meet and work with all the young GOs, or staff, at the Club Meds too. Wally did two shows in the theatre to a packed audience of all ages as well as playing with the band in the bar at impromptu times.  The staff did a great job on the shows which included a band, dancers and screaming fans. We had an awesome time and were sad to leave everyone.  We were so thankful to Hammer, the Chief of the Village for inviting us and look forward to seeing him at the next one.
